Wichita River Festival® Schooner Mates
The Prairie Schooner Mates are a group of local high school juniors who act as the youth ambassadors of the Festival. They represent Wichita and surrounding private and public schools. In November the students underwent an interview process and were selected by a committee of volunteers and staff of Wichita Festivals, Inc. They will be accompanying the Admiral Windwagon Smith at this year's Riverfest.
