Join the fun and spend time with family and friends, or beat the pavement and vie for the top place in each race of the largest road race in Kansas. Regardless, come out and start the morning off right. Sign up today! All registrants receive a Riverfest button and T-shirt and all finishers receive a medallion. Tot Trot

  • 10:30 am
  • Location: Douglas Street Bridge
  • Lace up those sneakers and pull that velcro tight! Children, Kindergarten through 2nd grade, will experience the thrill of victory at the 10th Annual Tot Trot. All finishers receive a medallion at the finish line. Register at same locations as the Bank of America River Run listed above. Registration includes a Tot Trot T-shirt and a Riverfest button. Event registration begins April 7.

Admirals’ Pancake Feed

  • 8:30 am - 11:30 am
  • Location: The deck of the Garvey Center, 250 Douglas Place

  • Try to catch your breakfast in mid-air! Fun and filling pancakes with Admiral Windwagon Smith XXXV brings Saturday morning breakfast back. Enjoy coffee donated by Walgreens’ Café W. and tasty pancakes for $5 with your Riverfest button.

Aeroflex Acoustic Arts on the Court

Alefs Harley-Davidson River Ride

  • 10:00 am (last bike out at 11:00 am) - 5:00 pm
  • Location: Poker Run begins at Alefs Harley-Davidson, I-135 & 53rd St. N. and ends at the Wichita Public Library at Douglas and English.
  • Grab your gear, a few ridin’ buddies and start the day with a poker run that ends at Riverfest. Park your bike at the event while you enjoy local music. Stay late for The Bombardier Learjet Legends of Rock Concert at the West Bank Stage. Registration begins April 7th at Alefs Harley-Davidson. For more information call 316-440-5700. 49th Annual Art, Book and Craft Fair

  • 10:00 am - 6:00 pm

  • Location: Kennedy Plaza & Century II Exhibition Hall
  • The 49th Annual Art, Book and Craft Fair is presented by the Friends of the Wichita Art Museum and occurs during the activities of Riverfest. The 2008 Art, Book and Craft Fair will focus on the presentation of high-quality arts & crafts.

Mountain Man Rendezvous
& Plains Indians Dances

  • 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
  • Sponsored by: Mid-America All-Indian Center
  • Special evening event at 6:00 pm. Come experience a 1700 - early 1800’s Mountain Man camp and Plains Indians Dance Exhibition. Visit Indian vendors demonstrating and selling traditional arts and crafts. Indian Tacos and concessions available. Admission is free with a Riverfest button.

Aeroflex Antique Bathtub Display/Judging

  • 11:00 am - 2:30 pm
  • Location: Main Street from Douglas to English
  • Assisted by: The Wichita Wagonmasters
  • Give the Bathtub races a farewell send-off in their last year as you get up-close and see how these unique tubs are made. Don’t forget to vote for your favorite in the Aeroflex People’s Choice Award, announced May 17 during the races.
